Controllare impianto Vimar By-Me con OpenHab e Raspberry Pi2

ciao,

I was searching the internet for other people using the vimar system and it seems you are pretty advanced on this topic.

I have the folling components in my setup:

• 21554.B Video Touch 4.3 Color
• 01945 IP Web Server
• 21509 Central Touch Screen
• 01998 BUS-to-Serial Interface

the IP Web Server works so far - but in hindsight it is by far not that what I expected. I wish for any IFTTT, alexa, or google home integration. Thats why I tried to implement a wrapper for the webserver to send custom commands over http. I got this working, but is very slow. Also I would have to implement all custom commands (like timers or external interfaces) by myself. A direct interface to the bus and an integration to openhab or Domoticz would be great - I also have a synology server and spare rasperry3 for this.

 

I am not yet through with this thread (sorry, my Italian understanding is very limited) but as far as I understood, I need this ESP_SCSGATE. Is this right? 

 

Any . would be appreciated. Also I am just making this post, so you know I am on this topic as well

I just found out, that my post (above) did not get deleted, but just moved to another forum - this above was meant to be in https://www.plcforum.it/f/topic/194944-controllare-impianto-vimar-by-me-con-openhab-e-raspberry-pi2/ - so maybe it does make more sense now.

 

Also I wanted to post a link to an integration in PHP, that mimics the web requests on the webserver (mostly direct sql statements … )  https://github.com/h4de5/VimarWebserverApi

I moved away from the standalone PHP implementation to a python integration for home-assistant.io

So far you can - if you have the by-me webserver (01945) - control lights, switches, fans and shades all from the home-assistant's web interface. From there any of the many other integrations can be used to interact with or automate those entities.
