Il disco che hai che formattazione ha? windows fat, o ntfs? è un disco che ha dei file che vuoi leggere o è un disco che vuoi utilizzare ex nono con linux? che capacità ha in GB o TB? se dai qualche informazione in più sicuramente qualche esperto di linux saprà darti un consiglio. Se hai un altro HD prova a sostituirlo, oppure se hai un PC desktop prova a collegare l'HD su un connettore SATA interno, se funziona lo dovresti vedere già nel bios. Ciao, Ale.

Quindi deduco che hai montato l'HD dentro il PC come ti avevo suggerito. Cerca però di essere meno reticente nel fornire informazione, non sempre a distanza si riescono a dedurre le cose. Ciao, Ale.

Appena lo inserisco hd drive esterno lampeggia e fa dei tic tac poi termina, ma la luce termina di lampeggiare Adesso ho provato con konsole utilizzando il comando lsusb e l'hard disk esterno appare!

Se dopo ripetute prove con vari sistemi non va significa quasi certamente che è meccanicamente rotto. A volte mi è capitato di trovare l'alimentatore esterno (quando c'è) che non è in grado di alimentare il disco. Evita quindi di inserire lunghissime liste di ceck con errori vari ricorsivi dopo che ti ha già risposto ilguarda. I dischi rigidi per quanto garantiti sono soggetti a guasti molto di più di quanto si pensi. Inoltre, dato l'uso che se ne fa, non è il caso di tentare di recuperare hd che danno sintomi di fine vita.
