I want . with Integrating a Servo Motor into My PLC Project

Hey everyone,

 

I am having trouble integrating a servo motor with my PLC setup for a project I am working on. I am still getting the hang of working with motion control.

 I want the motor to perform precise movements based on inputs from sensors connected to the PLC. I have set up the basic wiring & programming but the motor seems to lag sometimes or does not stop at the exact position I need.

 

I am  using a Siemens PLC and a compatible servo drive. Are there specific parameters I should be focusing on PID tuning or communication settings to make everything smoother? Also how do you guys typically handle troubleshooting motion issues like this??
